7 Leaves Cafe

I’ve been wanting Vietnamese coffee for weeks and decided to drive out to the riverside location. The girls working are rude, some guy cut me in line to order and the girl behind the register didn’t even say anything. Just a lot of “uh…” rather than “oh sorry, she was first, I’m going to help her”. Poor training and poor customer service

No drip or espresso-based coffees. More of a boba tea bar than a cafe.

Edit 06/04/2023 Secret menu is now on the app and I always recomend people to adjust your sweetness levels on the drinks. For example i get easy sea cream and easy sweet. Edit 04/21/2022 Still a great place for tea and coffee. It hasn't really changed too much besides adding tables and chairs inside and out and giving it a bit more of a sit down cafe feel. Got a sea salt coffee and mung bean milk tea. The coffee is nice and not sweet with the solid Vietnamese coffee flavor I expect. The mung bean tea is the hidden star as it's so delicious. The consistency is a lot denser, like a taro milk tea. I'm so happy we have this place in Riverside now. Still enjoying the place years later as a consistent staple of a good tea/coffee shop here. Another update of Feb 2022 and it's still my go to place. House coffee is delicious and creamy and drinks like the strawberry sunset and sea salt jasmine tea are my favorites. Parking: Parking is behind the building but only 10-15 spots. There is also validated parking in the shopping center for 2 hours.

Got food poisoning from this place twice. They don’t know when their milk products go bad.

The service was good as always, but the last two times I’ve gone they were out of boba. I got the Summer Mint tea with grass jelly instead, which I’ve had before, and it tasted very off. Both the tea and the jelly were bad, not tasting at all like they have in the past when I’ve ordered them. Not sure if they’re going through a slump because usually this location is great!

Cafe style have 4-5 small tables as waiting area order at counter and they will call your name when drink is ready Price is cheaper than orther store Favor is a good blend, they have 2 size Regular and jumbo ( huge ) Simple Ambiance

7 Leaves Cafe is located at University Village (“The U.V.”) right off the 60 Freeway and University exit. This is a small boba shop that occupies the once-Starbucks location but there’s plenty of parking spaces here and the staff are friendly. My go-to drink is the Strawberry Hibiscus Tea because it has a smooth taste. And I like that it’s freshly brewed iced tea. The added lime gives it a refreshing taste. And it’s consistent from the other 7 Leaves Cafe locations I’ve ordered from, such as Chino Hills and Garden Grove. Overall, if you enjoy fresh brewed tea over ice, this is your next stop. Enjoy!
