since it was spicy, I didn't serve the food to my kids. got a big enough stone in the appetizer. it's not allowing me to add the picture in review.
EDIT 2024: they moved out of their main building a few months ago into the strip mall location. Still very good food!! Blown away! I eat here REGULARLY as I have lived just a few miles away for several years. I heard they were giving out free food after Hurricane Irma. These folks had NO POWER and were giving out food with kerosene heaters. I went on Tuesday evening with my family, thinking I could BUY dinner to thank them for their generosity - nope! they were STILL giving out free food and refused to accept any money. These folks are GOOD PEOPLE and even better, they make YUMMY FOOD! I don't think I can say that enough!
Got takeout from here. Had the buttered & curry chicken & a few other things. Authentic & delicious Indian food. 110% recommend!
Good food, reasonable price, service indifferent, very noisy, harsh lighting, could be cleaner.
Terrible food, the service struggles and the atmosphere is dated and dirty. A year ago this restaurant was stellar. Something has changed because other than them moving Nextdoor the food has fallen behind. Mutton Biryani was old, the meat black/burned, the rice was sitting in a pool of oil. Just digesting! The dosas lacked flavor. Never going back unless someone convinces me they have a new chef.
We thought it was good as per Google reviews. But we were utterly disappointed with taste of the food. The dishes we had - Shahi Paneer, Veg Thali, Mysore Dosa, Veg Manchurian. All the items were way too off the ideal and authentic taste. If you really want to have authentic Indian restaurant, I would recommend look for better options.
The atmosphere and ambience were good but the food was not. We tried various dishes veg manchurian, veg thali, shahi paneer, and garlic naan. The spice level was very low even though we ordered the medium spice level. Veg Manchurian was too sour and tangy. This is not the place I'd recommend if you are looking for authentic Indian food.
We ordered chicken Manchuria, chicken pakodi and guntur biryani. The food quality has reduced a lot. We used to enjoy our food here especially the guntur biryani. Nothing tastes the same here anymore. Not sure what the reason is. The biryani was bland, no flavor whatsoever. The Manchuria tasted like chicken dipped in ketchup. I don't want to even discuss the pakodi. This was my favorite menu item and ordered this many times.but the last few orders the food kept getting worse.
