beer is decent but wow absolutely terrible service, truly felt like an annoyance to the guy working behind the bar who after we sat down proceeded to go in the back and just chat to his buddy for 10 minutes until we went up to the counter, went on to say maybe 2 words to us, saw other people come in and same thing, completely irritated to be doing his job at the most basic level (pouring beers and punching it in). given how pricey this spot is, would not return
A regular at both shops. Nice selection of lighter beers and a cider. I'd appreciate a stout becoming a constant menu item.
Buckle up kids, as this is going to be a bumpy one. I've been to this location several times. Couple times shortly after covid restrictions lifted and once a week ago. So in the before times, service was terrible, me and my friends went 2 times and would have at least a couple extra drinks each but nobody approached us so we left. Fast forward last Tuesday afternoon, service was inexistent. They moved on to "counter service", of course without letting me know after I was seated. Anyway the "bartenders" (they're more like barbacks as they do literally nothing but pour a beer) were just behind the bar, chilling and chatting amongst themselves like alternative "main Street people". I ask for a beer (very overpriced as I know how much a 33 acres keg is sold to a restaurant), get my beer and I'm shocked by the tip options... 25%.... twenty five for what?!?! Ignoring people and pulling a handle down? Don't get me wrong, I'm an industry worker myself but this is just immoral if you take into consideration the whole experience. The only reason I'm giving a 2nd star is that they actually make good beer. Nirvana, sunshine and darkness are quite good. However, I advise you to get them from a liquor store and don't get these "brewery servers" any business.
Great service Excellent recommendations As a beer drinker who likes to try different ones in short visits, a flight is the way to go. We tried 2 IPAs, a Pilsner and French Blanche (think of a Witt) And a BONUS try of the Doppelbock and Shwartzbeir!
