We were a family of four out for movie night. We decided on Asain street eats, it's an Asain cuisine, food court. We all decided on 26 Thai Kitchen because they had the fresh pineapple with fried rice. It comes with chicken and shrimp and a side of fried rice. We all ordered with no shrimp, Xtra chicken. When it came out, it looked really good. It was hot and steaming. We started eating the chicken and veggies that were stuffed into the halved pineapple and low and behold, the chicken was so dry and crunchy, it immediately reminded me of my college days in Charleston SC. where there were several Asain restaurants that were shut down because they were found to be serving homeowners pets (cats and dogs) as the protein. Well, this had that same odd texture and one of the reasons I truly stopped eating at Chinese restaurants. You could literally not chew the supposedly chicken that was served in the pineapple. I told the lady at the counter and she asked if I wanted another order... well hell no! I didn't say it, but I definitely thought it. I don't recommend this place. Update: Seven months later, I received a response from this dump.
gotta be smoking something with these prices. youd think for $20 it would be enough for at least one person. $20 gets you a little more than a maruchan ramen packets worth of food.
Really Nice place to grab a bite to eat
We had the Basil Gai dish. Minced chicken with fully fried egg. The jasmine rice was on the side. The taste was really good. Felt that the rice could be more in quantity.
$25 for a street food entry in a food hall is wild. I blame myself.
Very underwhelming. Luckily I’ve been to other locations, so I know that this place is no reflection of the others. My pad thai had little to no seasoning, & the salmon fried rice came with a bland piece of salmon. Very disappointed . UPDATE: I placed my order online; thus, they had my phone number. Following my initial review I received a call to inquire about my experience, & how they can improve. That really meant a lot. Some ppl don’t care enough to do such. Thank you for that.
FANTASTIC food with amazing staff. Get the Drunken Noodles with Beef or the Basil Gai. You won't be disappointed.
This has been one of the best places I’ve come to since moving to Atlanta! The food is delicious, smooth environment and atmosphere, and the service was phenomenal for how well they served us and cared for our presence in a timely manner. recommended to my friends and family and we’ll be back soon!
