This place definitely caught my attention. The staff was a bit slow due to only having 1 server / bartender. She was very polite and made sure we were taken care of. The food came out quick and was spot on. The loaded fries were ok , didn't have any flavor on them. The duck burger was extremely good and I would recommend that over any of the other burgers. My daughters chicken strips were extremely over cooked. Over all it was a great experience.
The menu has a lot of delicious choices it's hard to decide on just one entree.
Food and cocktails were all excellent.
Save your time & money; Broderick Est. 1893 is over-rated & SOOOO overpriced! $30 (!) burgers $21 (!) Caesar salad, $11 (!) plain fries $16 (!!!) cheesecake North Beach, San Francisco prices @ a remote grimy dive bar sporting a stinky out-dated interior serviced by a sketchy dusty dimly-lit pot-holed parking lot reeking of weed smoke. Truly laughable is that "BRODERICK Est.1893" is the extent of their exterior signage... how those driving by are to know the artistically painted building is a restaurant is beyond me but all the missed business could explain the exorbitant prices.* The chuckles were short-lived indeed... The kitchen lacks both a Thermapen & a digital order tracking timer as all 4 of our burgers were improperly temped (grossly well+) and served in an untimely manner. Big turn offs were cold plates, luke-warm product & patties excessively smeared with condiments & stacked high with soggy onion rings & veggies combining to make overworked burgers so tall that without deconstruction all were entirely unmanageable... greasy limp fries (change and properly heat the fryer oil!), lipstick residue on beverage glasses and hack tank-top clad servers = open armpits over plates of overpriced improperly-cooked food that took an hour to receive. Verdict; we will not return. (Ella Dining Room in downtown Sac is free of profane employees & offers an exemplary $19 lunch pepper bacon-Guryere cheeseburger w/ seasoned fries in a high-end setting with well-dressed professional servers) *Sac Bizjournal magazine has many articles documenting Broderick Est. 1893 owing $4+ million in unpaid taxes, liens, legal fees, past rents; vendor's, supplier's, contractor's bills, former employees wages, banking penalties, etc.
Rudest customer service ever especially a guy with tail like a lady has attitude
They are known for their burgers, and the other members of my party had that, I had the Cobb Salad with Balsamic. It had a good quantity of chicken, and the greens and other vegetables were fresh and crisp.
I did not like the location and interior vibe, we left.
