It's a great bar with generally strong drinks and a good consistent nice vibe. Definitely a comfort place for me.

Do not go here! The staff was horrible. In particular, the bouncers were belligerently drunk, slamming doors, and cursing and screaming at patrons. One of the bouncers asked my female friend to show her breasts as a price for admission. To boot, the bar inside was cheap and dirty.

One of my favorite bars on earth! Never changes, you can smell the history, incredible location, great regulars and super awesome bartenders. If You also like this place You may enjoy watching the opening scene of the Netflix film “Someone Great” which begins with an epic uncut shot that goes from across the street and right into 169 Bar . It’s the best shot in what is an entertaining film.
