I had an amazing time first time in 161. This time, though, I told my friends how much I enjoyed it and they’re so eager to come but when we got there the security guard told us we couldn’t get in because my friend had lost her I’d and had her temporary id - which she just had got into a Manhattan club with along with her DL and passport pictures - and as the bartender told the security guard to have us out the security guard just did. We had a 6 people group willing to sing and drink there but we were left out although no one was underage or lying. I am really disappointed writing this as we take a cab to another karaoke bar where I hope I’ll be happy Nd writing a good review when I’m going home. So sad cause we had an amazing time last time and now I feel like I can’t take my friend there anymore. Just a quick update here, the club we were had the ID scanner, so my friends temporary ID QR Code was scanned. They didn’t have a “more relaxed” take on this, they had an actual tool that was able to identity that we were not lying about the temporary id. Maybe that’s an improvement you can make to your place so other people don’t get kicked out like that again ;)

It's a quaint small karaoke bar. Kevin the bartender was great and made great drinks.

Amazing crowd and kind/patient bartenders who took care of a few over indulgent guests. Highly recommend for a fun and intimate karaoke night out with friendly strangers

Came here for a karaoke night with a group of friends. It’s a small cozy place and the vibe is SO good! Towards the night everyone is singing together :) They have an app which has a list of songs, and you can ask your name to be added to the queue for $2 per song. The cocktails were okay, but good enough to make you drunk and that’s what matters ;)
