The most disappointing fish restaurant where I had to return a very dry fish filet, to get another 'improved' version courtesy of the chef.. as bad as the first one!!! My wife had the same bad experience with another fish. We definitely think that the chef / sous-chef don't know how to prepare a simple moist fish and respect the top quality Florida red snapper and grouper fishes. What a shame for a restaurant we used to like and now think is well overpriced for the quality (or lack of it)! . We'll never return there!
Such a fun huge establishment with multiple dining spaces to accomodate both large & small groups. Cocktails were stellar, & beautifully crafted, with eye popping presentation. Stone crab special ($75 for 3 small claws) was disappointing; not informed it would be served cold on ice, was poorly pre-shucked for ease of opening. Impossible to enjoy if you don't have the hand strength. Very glad we ordered a warm veg. Curried snapper was stellar. Key lime pie was tart, beautifully presented & excellent flavor.
On Spring break in Ft. Lauderdale, we searched for a family friendly, good food restaurant, and our local family in Ft. Lauderdale said let’s go to 15th street fisheries. Well, it didn’t disappoint! The atmosphere was awesome. The service was great, and the food was delicious. One of the coolest things about the restaurant for the kids entertainment is the hundreds of fish around the docks that you can feed with frozen shrimp (the tarpon are huge). I also don’t want to forget about the entertainment for the adults, like watching all the unique boats and super yachts floating by or stage in the area! It’s quite a scenery.
