Simply Delicious. I was there today with my Grandma ad we absolutely loved it. We shared the Baba Ghanoush, Moussaka, and finished of the meal with the Orange Cake. We were quickly seated and well attended to.
A wonderful spot. Excellent food in a relaxed atmosphere.
Visiting Sarasota Main Street without a reservation, we came upon 1592 Wood Fired Kitchen. The host seated us outside on a cool evening. The heaters were awesome. Our server Katy (with a Y) was fabulous. Her suggestions were right on. Started with the trio of dips,. They came right out along with a bottle of Albarino wine suggested by Katy accompanied by warm pita and fried pita. The spicy dirty fries were ordered as a side with the grilled branzino. Again, another great suggestion from our server was to enjoy them as an app with the dips. They were hot and delicious. The branzino was a masterpiece, photo opp, and came out with salad, green beans. and rice. It was a lot of food for 2 of us and we unfortunately did not have room for dessert, NEXT TIME.
Amazing spot, Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. I believe the vegetable medley dish could be made with a LOT LESS OIL. Otherwise, fantastic and great bar options .
Really nice for date night. Sat on sidewalk patio, had the heaters out. It was beautiful and very comfortable. Friendly attentive service. Braised short rib was very good, as was the pepperoni pizza.
Loved this spot! Amazing food. I had an open faced grilled chicken pita and a glass of their riesling white wine. Everything was perfect!
My pizza was raw. This was kind of overpriced. Our waiter was a nice guy. My brothers pizza was also raw. I hate it here. I’m alone and starving. UPDATE: it’s about 3 hours later and my whole family has the runs. This place is terrible
love the service. love the pizza keep getting the greek because it’s so good can’t wait to try the pepperoni going back soon!!
