105 West Brewing Company

Visited on April 19, 2024. Approx. 3pm. Was served by a male bartender at the bar. Didn’t catch his name. He was rude. Asked if we wanted a tab or pay now. As I was looking at menu the person I was with said “we will pay now.” I may have been shaking my head yes to the music in the background as I reviewed the menu; male bartender said “which is it?, you are shaking your head yes and you didn’t answer.” Not true. He acted as though we had both been there before and seemed to assume that my guest should know what she wanted right away. I said, “ she’s from Boston.” He replied, “that means nothing to me, I’m from “wherever”, he said…” I quit listening and wasn’t interested in communicating with him further. Probably why I didn’t get his name. Wearing a hat with short brown hair. He seemed rushed and angry. I instantly regretted not taking my out of town guest to a different brewery. Come on, Boston is cool! Lol. Anyways, I hope that whatever is happening in that man’s life that is making him unwelcoming and rude gets better. Beer was ok. I like colder beer and friendlier bartenders and there are plenty other places in CR with those key ingredients! Cheers!

Too many kids and "neo-Castle Rockians". May be great for the new folks in town, but really represents the negative growth of the town. That said, good beer, but not the best in town.

The best brewery I've ever been to!

Best brew in CR. Love the case club... A really great deal if you are a 105 fan.

We met some friends here for a last minute baby shower. In case you’re wondering, a baby shower that had to change venue from one brewery to another due to snow storm, is the most possible ‘Colorado’ you can be. Despite being last minute, they let us set up our spot for presents and hangout in a cozy corner. This despite the fact they were quite busy. There were tons of families in there meeting friends and playing games. To me, this screams community. Hats off to you, 105 West. Also, their blackberry sour was delicious and legitimately sour. I loved it.

I have zero reservations about endorsing this company. Intelligent, prompt, kind, and responsible.
