This place is great for a quick Japanese food choice. The ramen is simple great for the ones that are just trying out ramen. I would mostly come here for the rice bowls they have so many choices and it’s hard to pick one. I got the Miso Katsu Don and ramen with pork. The service is fast and friendly. Don’t forget to get red ginger! I am not sure if you have to return the trays or not so please ask. Overall for a quick and simple eat at anytime this place is great!
Delicious Food!! Thank you!!!
Authentic Japanese home cooked food, similar to ones I had in Tokyo recently.
Impressive authentic Japanese meal that’s very approachable! Okay, the Tonkatsu ramen was mediocre at best, but DONs were great. I had hamachi-don and my wife had spicy tuna-don. And we devoured all of it and we agreed that not many Japanese restaurants in the US can compete with their DONs. I mean in the $10-$20 category. That hamachi was perfectly aged and prepped. So I thought this place was run by Japanese and I confirmed that using my deficient Japanese language skills. Tonkatsu ramen was a disappointment though and this made me think hard about the 5 rating. I may try their udon if I want some sort of soups to complement my DONs. But 1 block away from the touristy SeaWorld and $11 spicy tuna-don? I will take it anytime! By the way, you have an option to tip certain amounts when you place an order. I tipped 15%, but I would not do that next time. I will probably just drop $2-$3 cash in the tip jar because it’s not a full service establishment.
