🍝 Le Colonne - St Armands - Restaurant

Horrible... Place.

Stopped for lunch. The menu looked good and for a weekday at low(ish) season we were well looked after and the meal was great and the Riesling in the sun went down a treat. I've just read some reviews before posting and based on my experience I can't see why some are so negative. Would happily eat here again to see what the evenings are like. Thank you Le Colonne team.

The Best! Stopped in here for lunch today. Exceeded our expectations. Fabulous salmon salad, delicious! Chilled Riesling, awesome limoncello cake to follow. Very well looked after by Stefan. A pity we are only passing through. We will definitely return next time we’re in town.

Food was real good. Service was great, we had a very nice waitress. Atmosphere was nice and we had a great night.

Super disappointed. I had 5 people with me. They added gratuity, thank god we Checked. They added a split plate charge for a pizza that me and my 5 yr old son was sharing. I also ordered a soup. Still charges the split plate. We ordered the margarita pizza, it was just a mozzarella cheese pizza. It came to $300. My 15yr son said his pasta noodles weren’t cooked. We are not cheap people. This was totally ridiculous. 2 adults, 2, 15yr old kids and a 5 yr old was $300. Nuts

Probably the worst food I've ever eaten. If I had to chose between dog food or this place I'd gladly eat the Purina. Cost me 380 dollars for 3 plates of pasta 4 glasses of wine from a box I'm sure. Hate to complain about anything but this place will rob u . hope they can get it in order. Extremely disappointed

Absolutely a disgrace of an owner! As my family is walking past this hole in the wall while pushing my 4 month old niece the owner pushes his way through our group and made me step on his feet and run into him. Not a simple apology not a care in the world just kept walking. I asked the next employee I Came across if he was the manager as he was wearing a dirty white shirt and she stated no he was the owner. In a popular, “high class” area I find this man to be a disgrace of my beautiful Sarasota county!

I recently dined at your establishment on 4/2/24 and would like to provide some feedback regarding my experience. I was initially excited to try out Le Colonne. However, I must admit that I left disappointed with the overall quality of the food. The dishes lacked flavor and failed to meet my expectations. Even the bread, which is typically a staple and an indicator of a good dining experience, fell short of satisfying. On a positive note, I must commend your staff for the good service they provided. While I hesitated to write a review due to the good service, I believe it is essential to provide feedback for improvement. As someone who dines out frequently and regularly recommends restaurants to others, it is unfortunate that I cannot recommend Le Colonne due to the disappointing food. I sincerely hope that you will consider making some improvements to the quality and flavor of your dishes.Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback.
