Call me biased because I love pandan and I love durian but this place makes one of the best cakes I’ve ever eaten. The sponge itself is flavorful, not too sweet, very moist and has an amazing flavor. The durian layer is just pure durian. This takes the cake to the next level. It’s so fragrant and sweet but not too sweet. The okay-ish part is the cream. It’s just whipped cream and imo it’s nothing special Overall the cake is amazing. I just get it to eat. No special occasions. The absolutely went overboard with the design and I love it. There’s so much thought put in. The price is solid. Worth every penny for me. My cake was 8 inches for $50 Shout out to their banh mi. Very affordable and very good
I love Tony's Bakery :) when I am vending at markets, I always pick up a banh mi from either here or Banh Mi Deluxe nearby. I recently got their tofu banh mi and it was swimming in yummy sauce. I also love their buns with meat and eggs (not sure what they're called in Vietnamese) and enjoy getting eggrolls too. Sometimes I see huge catering orders and it makes me want to be part of a huge Vietnamese family lol...feels like a community establishment for sure!
Tony's provides a large selection of items, and portions are generous and affordable. I come here regularly for my lunch hour. :)
Best banh mi and family run business around. Phenomenal egg rolls too!
First off look at the sign. Food:Okay! Second,I go in look to order a Chicken Vietnamese sandwich and the older lady insisted I get a Pork. As she makes, the other lady says what else,we have egg rolls. Ok. Being their only 1$,I'll get 2. And what do you know they were room temperature warth. Atleast hot ones, and offer soy sauce!!! Too go and like Subway 1 single half of a napkin. Used to be a highly recommend staple in the neighborhood. What happened Tony?
