Was looking forward to Nashville hot chicken but honestly a bit disappointed. We ordered dark meat Nashville hot. The menu says it takes 22 min for the dark meat but our chicken came out in a few minutes. Unfortunately the chicken was luke warm and half soggy, it was obviously not fresh. They also have too much skin to chicken ratio, like, you can take a bite but get no meat. The heat level delivered though, they are quite spicy.

got the Nashville Hot Chicken & Waffles this was pretty interesting because it consisted of two completely separate foods with complete opposite flavor profiles starting with the chicken - I ordered the Nashville Hot spice level, which was the second highest spice level you can get. The first and most obvious thing about the chicken was that it was spicy. Like really spicy. That has to be the spiciest chicken I've ever had and it's not close. I was still able to finish both tenders without adding any extra sauce (the waffles helped) but my mouth was on fire at the end - I had to get in some ice cream While normally I like spicy food - I can't say I liked this spice as much because it seemed more like spice caked on to the breading as the seasoning itself - kind of like the only point of the breading was to be spicy. I didn't taste many other flavors in there. This made the eating experience of the chicken not super enjoyable as I didn't really enjoy each bite as much as I was just getting through it To add to this, the breading was nice and crispy, but it didn't attach to the chicken as well as I would like. It frequently peeled off the meat itself. It also didn't quite have the oily texture of good fried chicken - was a bit dry As far as the meat itself - I thought it was fine - nothing special but also nothing too bad. The thing that I really liked was the portion sizes of the chicken. While it wasn't super easy to get through, I did like the fact that the chicken filled me up I really appreciated the spice level in the chicken - but wish the breading was better and had more different flavors Get this if you're really craving spicy food The second part of this meal were the waffles - which were astoundingly good The waffle was soft but had real weight to it - each bite had a depth of dough that was fantastic In addition, the whiskey butter and maple syrup made the entire thing a truly amazing sweet experience It complimented the chicken so well - adding an excellent side flavor to each bite The way I would eat this is by cutting a piece of the waffle off, and either putting it in my mouth and taking a bite of the chicken or combining pieces of both onto a fork and eating it that way. The waffle's sweetness made the chicken tenders tolerable and significantly improved the overall experience The fried egg was fine Overall: Chicken was a 6.5/10, Waffles were a 9/10, so total 7.75/10

Alright there’s a lot of mixed reviews about this place on here and I bet it’s just a bunch of fussy Nancy’s who don’t like dive bars. The chicken was killer, got the Seattle hot and it was banging. Real hot but didn’t last too long. Went there intending to get the Nashville but was a little intimidated. I’m from the east coast and Nashville hot chicken has been a big thing for the past five years and I’ll say this was spot on. Get whatever you want on the menu. It’s probably all good. Anyone who complains about this place doesn’t like dive bars and expected to go to a restaurant but this place definitely feels more like a pub or some dark dive that just happens to serve killer food. Stop complaining and be happy you get an awesome dinner and don’t have to cook for yourself. Tip your server. Do better. Eat chicken.

This place used to be good. Like really good. So good that I have been 4 times in the last 6-ish months hoping their quality control could improve. It just isn't good anymore. The buns were super hard one time. Sometimes it takes 45 minutes to get the meal and when it comes out, the chicken is overcooked like rubber. This last time, one piece of chicken in my sandwich was perfect and delicious and the other piece was mostly tendons and a super weird shape. I might give it a go in 6 months hoping quality improves. If not for that one delicious piece in my sandwich today, I'd be done with this place.

Just checking out the space, didn't eat here, but the staff was fantastic and the ambience was very retro 70s/80s cool. We will be back!
