Long waits + hipster service = you can have great coffee and food with less waiting and hassle in plenty of other places. It's not bad but not worth the wait there are too many cool, fun spots with good coffee and delicious food.
Excellent place if you want to taste different coffees at the same time. The food is very good also. Sit at the coffee bar and watch the baristas do their magic
The Hash Wrap wasn't great. The addition of kale seemed out of place in a burrito, and the pork belly bacon lacked proper cooking, resembling the texture and taste of regular bacon fat. Additionally, the construction of the burrito was unsatisfying, with one half dominated by egg and soggy kale while the other contained potatoes and bacon. The side of hash browns also fell short, as only the top was seasoned, leaving the rest of the potatoes bland.
I had my doubts at first about the ricotta hotcakes with how many flavors they incorporate, but it BLEW MY MIND! definitely recommend this place just based on that alone, but all the other dishes were also stellar - we had the potato hash and the Just Beet It salad. Kid-friendliness: There’s a kids area with toys and books!
Hands down the Avo best toast in town, turn the frown upside down.
Our server was very nice. We had the hot cake (fancy pan cake with flowers and all). It was fine.
honestly it was really good but like so so weird. i’ve never ate anything like it before. and the coffee is so interesting. this place is so portland, it’s kinda funny.
Came in around 10 for brunch on the weekend and was able to get sat right before the big rush. We ordered 5 plates and all of them were delicious and unique! I would absolutely recommend and come back as the menu was so different than anywhere else and tasted amazing. The service was excellent as well, all working cooperatively, never having to ask for a refill on water is always nice. The place is big but still gets super busy and on a wait. It is on the noisier side but I suppose depending on where you are sat can be a bit better. ..... Been back a couple times now and the ricotta hotcakes are probably my favorite brunch dish ever. If you're even slightly interested, get them!!
Favorite place for coffee in the city. They have a very large coffee menu including a long list of pour overs to choose from (and the option to have a flight of pour overs, too!). Great brunch selection, too. It does get busy so be ready to wait, seating is limited.
