Great food

I always hit portillo's when I come to Chicago

Never disappoints.

We went for my nephew's fundraiser for his school. We got two Italian beefs which is a family favorite. We also got a fish sandwich and chicken strips. All was good. I've realized I like the strawberry lemon shake just not the cake pieces in it. It's a texture thing. Not everyone likes cake in their shakes but the flavor was spot on. The only thing that disappointed me on the order was that we were missing an order of onion rings. We didn't realize until we got home. If it was not a fundraiser, I would have called and asked to have that refunded so I opted not to so amount donated doesn't get affected. When fundraising, every penny counts. Will this stop me from going there again, no. It was busy when we went and sometimes an item missing happens. If we were still there, we would have gone in and get it.
