Noisy and crowded for us older folks but delicious and innovative dishes

The ribs were really really good

Immediately upon walking into the establishment, I felt a rude energy coming from the hostess. I started walking towards the bar to sit down as it was empty, and all I wanted was a drink. She hastily came over and advised us we “can’t just sit there”. This was fine. I didn’t know the rules so I stood at the entrance and asked if we could be seated at the bar. She then said something under her breath and walked over to the bar which was empty, moved a few things around and came back to us and said sure you can be seated. She then let us to the bar and sat us down. All of this would’ve been fine except for it was so awkward due to her attitude and how uncomfortable she was making us feel as customers as if she didn’t want us to sit at the bar and she was saving it for someone else. I hope she was having a bad day and it was coming out on the wrong people, overall I would not come back because if I saw this person again, I would feel extremely uncomfortable, again. I gave their food a high rating because I’m sure it’s good, but I was unable to try it because I left soon after due to the uncomfortable nature of the people working there. Side note, the bartender was polite it was really just the hostess who gave a bad taste in my mouth. Sincerely hope nobody else has had a bad experience like I did.
