Metropolitan Grill

Honestly, this would be.a 5 star experience across the board were it not for their bizarre policy of adding a 20% service charge to the bill (for 100% of guests, no minimum party size), and then saying that the 20% charge goes 100% to the company. What? They actually then say that tips for the server “are not expected, but graciously accepted.” Also what? If you are going to do something insane like that, then please just post what your servers make so I can tip accordingly. Super dumb. I assume the management had a stroke at some point.

Check your receipts. I bought a $25 drink at the bar and they automatically added a $5 Service Charge, then my credit card statement shows they added another $4 on top of that, despite the receipt clearly not showing an extra tip. Seems intentional.

Just an outstanding place to celebrate with great food. The cocktails and wine selections are fantastic. The steaks are out of this world. Don't miss the creamed spinach and baked potato. The carrot cake stole the show! Don't miss it!

How can you NOT enjoy the Metropolitan Grill? The food is amazing. The atmosphere is second to none. And the service is stellar. We LOVE the entire crew!!!!

My husband took me to Metropolitan Grill for my birthday, and it was phenomenal! The service and the food quickly made this my new favorite steakhouse.

The MG is a charming, real deal, old school steak house. Table side chateaubriand & carrot cake that was to-die-for, but the customer service was just as phenomenal as the food. Rob, the bartender, was extraordinary!! We will definitely return!
