It pains me to write this, but I had a terrible experience with Kanak. We found hair in the takeout container and even after complaining and following up with calls, they couldn’t care less. The lid of the container was closed shut with a lock of hair that was in the curry and dangling outside. When I called, someone took my details and said they would call me back, but nobody called me. I called again after a few days, and this employee said they were new and they didn’t know how to handle the complaint, and the manager was out that day. I have frequented this place from when they started as I lived close by. I used to get lunch here atleast twice a week and even introduced this place to my friends and colleagues. Even after I moved from the area, I never missed a chance to eat here. It’s extremely disheartening to see such a slip in quality check, and see a careless attitude toward customer complaints.
The mango curry is especially good and the food is amazing overrall
I had ordered a delivery from this place. This is one of the non-indian Indian restaurants in Seattle. Tikka sauce doesn’t taste anything close to tikka masala but more like a tomato soup. Chicken is no cooked properly and has no flavor, you might even doubt if that is chicken. It smells raw / just boiled chicken. Absolutely not worth the money you spend. I usually don’t review food places much, but had to leave it here, in case you are assuming this is your option for the day.
The most unwelcoming server I've ever encountered in all my years of eating at restaurants. Forget a smile or a hello, it totally felt like we were really were bothering the server by trying to eat there. Food was the average Indian food you get in america, nothing special. But the waiter, holy hell, bruh if you don't wanna work here, quit.
I ate here a few weeks ago. The food is very good and the service was exceptional.
Satisfactory Indian food in downtown Seattle.
