Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

Super loud inside. After otdering 30 minuntes later we received our salid and 2 minutes later our meal was delivered.

I wholeheartedly believed Firebirds could do no wrong. Having dined at both their South Park and Northlake restaurants, Sunday was my 1st time at the StoneCrest location. I ordered the baby back ribs, and they were blah. They barely fell off the bone and were smothered in really thick barbecue sauce, which, in my opinion, was kinda odd. I added a Caesar side salad, and that wasn't good. Never have I ever had a bland Caesar salad. How'd that happen??? My other side was the parmasean mashed potatoes. They were lukewarm, and I almost spewed them out of my mouth! At one point, I thought I was eating potato salad. I washed all of this down with an "add a lot of water and a little ice to pineapple juice in a glass" mocktail. Next time I'll go with the salmon.

The fire grilled food is some of the best I've had. Love the salmon. The carrot cake is also excellent.

Firebirds is a faint remnant of what it once was. Club sandwich had some funky mayo that was ordered on-the-side. A $16 club ought to be “wow”. This was not even close . Old cheese. Minimal ham and turkey. Cider slaw was mayo dressing. Couldn’t taste any vinegar. Best thing was the complimentary bread. Everything was overpriced for quality/value. Sanitation rating 92.5. Checked the report and found 6 critical (red) issues. To summarize, apparently no one in a manager role is keeping track of training, behaviors, etc. Upon leaving, the Wendy’s drive thru next door was backed up. Now I know why.
