Cozy dining area and one of the only places I've ever seen matzo brei on the menu. Love this place so much
Pretty good food, large portion but quite expensive.
Wanted to try out David’s deli and diner. Was seated immediately in a corner, but shortly after ignored and took 15 minutes to be seen by a waiter. It must have been busy, but I saw other tables get seated after me and got their foods. Tough being a table for one sometimes. Another 20 minutes for food to be served. Ordered the Rueben. It was decent. Came with fries. But expensive for how much food it was. Atmosphere felt like a bustling diner but very narrow with little room to walk around. Food - 13/20 Service - 3/10 Atmosphere - 6/10 Total - 22/40
Wonderful. Highlight of San Francisco trip.
Great Shakshuka for breakfast
Fear not! David's is a legit *old* school diner. I was welcomed in. The coffee was delicious and hot. My breakfast was yummy and arrived hot. Good sausage. What they may need is more of a crowd to boost the energy. Only you can help with that, let's goooooo
A true deli, and one of the few remaining. Not fit those concerned about heart healthy food, but rather about enjoying what you eat, specifically old school jewish deli fare. The staff is unique, and always ready with a coffee top up and a wird. The portions are HUGE. Love this place, as its part of a dying way of dining.
