My first impression was rather positive, since I requested a table of my choosing and the waitress kindly obliged. To begin with, the finger food and consommé really set the tone for the entirety of the evening... the consommé was truly divine. Next was the house made bread and butter which were equally delicious. However, the mains were above average and not really the best in my opinion. The Halibut and Scotch egg were good, but not impressionable. The Hamachi crudo however was really good. Amazing flavours on the fish, mushrooms and the sauce combined gave it a refined taste. I'd say this was the best of the evening!! The dessert was amazing too though I don't really enjoy the acrid sourness of apples which affected the overall flavour profile. Also, I reduced the stars for service because of my pet peeve with restaurant workers - 5 courses and I was asked 5 times, each time while I was chewing, how the food was. I don't know who on earth thought bothering diners repetitively, while they are trying to enjoy the food, was a good idea. I mean this is not the only restaurant doing it, but it really got me this time. Whoever sets the curriculum for hotel management or whatever needs to know the difference between offering comfort vs being tactless. Like, do you really think diners would give you an honest answer and create an awkward moment, like come on... We all know most of the workers are just tired and have to force a smile most of the time. Give them a break too! Coming back to the food, I see a lot of comparisons with michelin starred restaurants in the reviews which actually prompted me to visit Copine, but I think though it has potential, it's just not really there yet...

Over rated, high priced. Food was bland. Server was bland. 700$ later for 3 people and only 3 drinks

We have been to Copine a couple of times and it is a good experience. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I am vegan and they have the chef prepare special courses based on the fresh ingredients they have, which I greatly appreciate. It is a very fine dining experience and my palette is not advanced enough to really appreciate it. The experience is a very fun date night or special occasion idea.

Dinner for four on 1/20/24. I’ll start with service because that was the highlight of our experience. Servers were friendly and provided a high touch experience with only a couple fumbles. Our server struggled at times to remember menu options and one of our courses was brought to the table when two of our party members were in the restroom. Food: sadly the courses were underwhelming. •Of the amuse-bouche, we really only enjoyed 1 out of the 2 offered as one was much too tart. •For the starters, both my husband and I got carrots while our friends got the hamachi tartare. The salad of heirloom carrots was really delicious with tender carrots, and elements of crunch. Overall the textures and flavors were delightful. Our friends seemed to enjoy the tartare as well. •We all opted for the supplemental mid course, and this was our favorite part of the meal. The spinach and ricotta tortellini was served in a yummy, savory prosciutto broth. The accompanying balls of pear provided an interesting and bright contrast to the pasta. The falafel was outstanding and our #1 dish of the night. •For the main we got chicken and this was the most disappointing dish. I personally did not love any of the options so that was not ideal, but thought the chicken would be the best. Unfortunately the truffle taste (in the foam on the chicken and in the sauce around it) was overwhelming and unpleasant. I found none of the accompanying parts of the dish to be enjoyable. •to finish we got the grilled cheese which I really wanted to love, but did not. The tomato paste with it had a great robust flavor, but the sandwich itself was just okay. It would have been better to have a grilled piece of cheese such as halloumi. The ambiance was okay. It was quiet (perhaps a bonus), but felt cold and industrial. I would have enjoyed it more with music and some cozy aspects. Having dined in several high end restaurants in the US and internationally we expected better service, food, and ambiance for the cost.
