Chuck’s holds a cherished spot in our hearts, nestled in a vintage diner setting where the owners still personally prepare meals, continuing a longstanding family tradition. It’s a place where you’ll often bump into neighbors sharing breakfast. While some aspects have evolved, like ordering at the counter instead of being served, and the introduction of plastic plates, cups, and silverware, the essence remains unchanged. Serving up Southern soul food with flavors that are subtly seasoned and delightfully light on grease, dining at Chuck’s offers a nostalgic yet refreshing experience. I extend a warm invitation to partake in the time-honored traditions of Charlotte at this beloved establishment.
Amazing food! Great quality and service and an even better price. My first time here but I will definitely be back.
I come here every morning before work and I'm never disappointed. The food is amazing and the prices are good! My favorite is the smoked sausage egg and cheese on toast and French toast.
If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!! With all the gentrification going on in Charlotte, it’s becoming more difficult to find these kinds of spots with good authentic food made to order + a homey atmosphere. I love Chucks, literally never had a bad experience here.
Such good food and great customer service!!!! The definition of a hidden gem, super cheap and has amazing breakfast, my new go to breakfast place!
This place is great! Having grown up in a small rural town, the family restaurants had the best food. Same goes for Chucks, great food and a GREAT price. This place is almost always hopping with the people of the nearby businesses and local families, but seems to have room every time we drop in. Come give it a try, the egg breakfast is $5.50 (take that WH)! Vegetarian options: Grilled veggies, toast, hash browns, and great tomato sandwiches Dietary restrictions: They will cook anything to order and have vegetarian dishes available. Parking: A huge lot for cars, a side street, and the dollar tree across the street all have parking spaces available. Kid-friendliness: Great, easy going, family atmosphere Wheelchair accessibility: Wide doors, low tables, and friendly staff.
