Bar Bombón

My husband picked this as a date night place without knowing it was vegan, and we are not vegans. We were both surprised with how incredible the queso is!! This tastes better than regular queso. It was great for my lactose intolerance husband. Unfortunately I was not a fan of my drink. I had a specialty hot chocolate drink with tequila that I asked them to sub out for vodka. Something about the drink tasted off to me and it was not enjoyable. Overall, I would definitely return for food, even though I’m not vegan myself. Vegetarian options: Menu is completely vegan.

Excellent ambiance. Staff was the best. Really on top of things and made suggestions to accommodate concerns/sensitivity to an ingredient. The jerk dish side/appetizer-awesome. Fish tacos-amazing. Tres Leches dessert-phenomenal. My only disappointment was the street corn. If I were to try again I'd wait until the corn is in season. Keep up the great work! Vegetarian options: Menu is all vegan.

An amazing spot for vegetarians in Philly!! Really yummy food and excellent drinks

Awesome food! As a lifelong vegetarian I really appreciated the quality of the food. Meatballs were excellent!! Service was great. Will definitely be going back.

Fantastic service. My partner and I observed, somewhat in awe, that our server -- I think his name was Declan? -- handled the entire dining room by himself with absolutely no negative effect on the quality of service. He was amazingly efficient and professional. It would have been totally understandable with the volume of tables he was covering to have to wait a bit for another round of drinks, struggle to get his attention, etc. But that never happened. And he didn't seem rushed or stressed in the slightest. That is not easy. He also knew the menu like the back of his hand; he asked for allergens up top (awesome!!) and was able to point out any dishes that had items my partner was allergic to. I hope Bar Bombón values his work! He's a very rare gem! The kitchen and bar were also amazingly fast. Food and drinks came out really quickly. It was all DELICIOUS, no skimping on quality. The dessert in particular, vegan tres leches, was probably the best dessert I've ever had in my life. A team that can turn over a table in 35-40 minutes with no drop in quality whatsoever is really special. Management/owners should be glowing with pride. Happy hour it’s the best way to eat and drink all those great options! Cauliflower Tacos is my favorite dish!

Food was so tasty! They were very accommodating for our child’s food allergies. This was the first time she’s ever had pancakes in a restaurant and they were yummy! Enjoyed the papas, yuca, and “fish” tacos.
