Revisited store 22/04/24 at12.20 Based on previous review here is my reassement. I revisited Store on 22nd April 2024 at 12:20 PM and had a mixed experience. The staff were welcoming and happy to assist when asked for directions to goods and services. However, I was disappointed to learn that Cakebox is no longer available at the store. The Scan and Go machines were limited in number, but I quickly downloaded the app on my new phone. While there were two checkouts open with short queues, most customers opted for self-service or Scan and Go. Unfortunately, the process at the Scan Go till was cumbersome as items had to be rescanned due to issues faced by the previous customer. I noticed that two of the Scan and Go machines were out of order, and the staff seemed preoccupied with chatting rather than attending to customer needs in that section. On a positive note, the store was clean and tidy, but your signage remained unchanged. Overall, there have been improvements in the service at Leyton Mills. However, the store could benefit from better monitoring of the Scan and Go section to ensure a smoother experience for customers. As the store gains more customers, maintaining high standards of service will be crucial to retain our loyalty. ——————————————————————— I hope you find this revised version helpful: I had a disappointing experience at Asda Leyton Mills store on the 11/03/24. Here are the key points: 1) The store was dirty. 2) It was busy. 3) Cake box and Cinnabon were no longer available. 4) The scan and go machines were not charged or functioning during the busiest period at 12:20 lunchtime. 5) Only one checkout was open with an already large queue. 6) The self-service till had a massive queue. 7) I asked staff to show me where I could find puff pastry they told me to go look for myself, as he new it was in friedge one, if not it would be on the other side. You didn’t have any in the store. 8) I asked for help in George ladies section but was as to go look for a specific member of staff ? She would be able help. What on earth is going on? 9) When I walked down to the other end of the store where card-only payments were accepted, I tried to use the till but was refused access as it was designated for baskets only, with a faded sign in the background. This caused inconvenience ( As we had already cued and weren’t moving hence the move to card only and confusion especially with a disabled person with me, leading me to leave the small dark grey shopping trolley and go home. I later went to another store down the road to get my friend her shopping. It’s not really that good in there as an experience more on par with a cash and carry. It seems that the customer service at Asda Leyton Mills store needs improvement. You seem like a very disjointed store. While some staff members are great on the till the majority seem unwilling to assist customers and shop floor. Priority should always be given to your customers and easier communication between staff need to be found, plus your management of customer at busy times. This feedback is based on the experience I had as a customer, and it's important for Asda to address these issues to enhance customer satisfaction. I intend to revisit your store in a month’s time as I have taken our business somewhere else, if you have fixed your isssue I will adjust my rating if not it will stay the same.
